Question: I am putting some glass tiles in my bathroom. The walls are currently painted a light orange color. Will the color on the walls show through the tiles?
Answer: It is highly likely that the orange paint will have some affect on the color of the glass tiles. The problem is that you will not know what the effect will be until after you have installed the glass tiles and if the effect is not pleasing, you would have no choice but to remove the glass tiles and start over.
I would recommend that you cover the orange color with a white paint. That way you will definitely not have any problems with paint color showing through the glass tiles.
Make sure that you allow the paint to cure properly before installing the glass tiles.
