Bunk beds are two beds stacked on top of one another. Bunk beds allow two children to conveniently sleep in the same room, saving the space that would be taken up by a second bed. Bunk beds can also be used to allow a convenient method to provide a sleep over for a child’s friend or relative.
Loft beds may look similar to bunk beds but they do not serve the same purpose as a bunk bed. A loft bed is designed to provide additional space in a child’s bedroom by raising the bed for desk, cabinet, or other space.
