Problem: Sound or noise leaking close to the floor wall junction.
Cause: Sealant not effective because of debris under the sole plates.
Solutions:
- Be sure the floor is clean before sole plates or sill plates are laid. Properly seal the gap under the plates as shown in Figure 5.
