The third greenhouse bench uses a flat piece of fiber cement board for the base of the growing tray and the sides, as shown in Figure 4. Support for the tray is accomplished using concrete blocks and wood rails.

As an alternative the wood rails can be replaced with 1 1/4″ galvanized pipe, as shown in Figure 5.
The forth greenhouse bench uses a welded wire fabric mesh for the base and there are no sides on the tray, as shown in Figure 6.
