Cover the grease and/or oil spots with a layer of clay based oil absorbent. Use a stiff bristled broom to work the oil absorbent into the oil and grease. This should remove the top layer of the oil and grease. Sweep-up the saturated oil absorbent and dispose of it.
Pour the carbonated cola over the remaining concrete grease and oil stain. Work the cola into the oil and grease, using a stiff bristled brush or broom for 10 to 15 minutes or until the carbonation in the cola has dissipated.
Rinse the concrete with clean water to remove the cola, grease and oil.
Mix the laundry detergent and the chlorine bleach into the hot water and using the stiff bristled brush or broom scrub the affected areas.
Rinse with clean water and all of the oil and grease stain should be gone and you should have clean concrete.
Caution: Wear safety goggles and rubber gloves when working with the concrete cleaning solution.
Note: Clay based oil absorbent can be purchased at most automotive supply stores. If you can’t find the clay based oil absorbent you can substitute kitty litter, however, kitty litter is much more expensive.
